We offer notary public services for a variety of your important financial, legal and business needs.
Here is a list of some of the most commonly notarized certificates and documents:
We will make a photocopy of your document and complete a certificate for the copy certification to confirm that the photocopy is a true, accurate, and complete copy of the original.
Here are some of the permitted types of documents:
Our team is experienced in taking acknowledgments, administering verbal oaths/affirmations, and executing depositions.
We take acknowledgments for proof that our clients' document signer is who they claim to be and has voluntarily signed the document. These are often required for valuable assets, such as deeds, mortgages, and deeds of trust.
We are authorized to verify upon oath or affirmation that the contents of a document are true via jurats. These certificates accompany documents such as affidavits, depositions and remote court hearings, which often are used as evidence in trials or other legal proceedings. We also offer three basic types of depositions: live, by written questions, and/or telephonic/video conference.
Sometimes, our clients may prefer to have an oath or affirmation administered orally rather than as part of a jurat, affidavit, or other written document. The purpose of administering a verbal oath or affirmation is also to compel a client to truthfulness.
We offer full notary services and travel to a location of your choice in the greater Austin area and North Texas.
Here are some of the typical places we meet our clients:
In addition to the document(s) needing notarization and any other necessary paperwork or forms, clients will need to provide a valid unexpired government-issued ID.
Here is a complete list of the acceptable forms of identification:
If a client does not have a valid ID, they may rely on a credible witness who is personally known to them. The credible witness will be administered an oath to identify the signer.
We value all our clients, including signers with physical impairments and other special needs. We strive to be prepared for and ensure that there are no barriers when it comes to notarizing your important documents.
Visually Impaired Signers: We provide signature guide cards with a small lip around the signature space where signers can feel to help them stay in the signature space without assistance.
Physically Impaired or Illiterate Signers: Clients who cannot sign their names due to physical impairment, disability, or illiteracy may sign with a mark, such as an “X” or another symbol. If physically unable to sign by name or mark, we can sign for them.
Hearing or Speech Impaired Signers: We will take every measure available to communicate with clients who are hearing or speech impaired. Signers can nod, make another affirmative gesture, or write a response on a notepad.
